“To educate, rehabilitate and equip physically handicapped children for development and self reliance“
“A society with all round educated physically handicapped people able to contribute to national development.”
KSPH strongly believes in parents, guardians and care givers and values their participation in school activities and events. Parents and care givers are always welcome to visit at any time but appointment is most preferable to ensure that the director, head teacher, deputy, or class teacher is available. Parents general assemblies are organised on annual basis, workshops are arranged and parents are always notified of specific dates.
As a result of lack of enough human resource, the school has been able to establish contact with volunteer sending organizations such as Jonnie and Friends, Sister School project, In via, Commundo, Via, International Contact Uganda, Uganda Pioneers Association to mention but a few. Volunteers are critically selected with professional help of our senior staff in consultation with sending and receiving organizations in and outside Uganda. Volunteers help to fill the gaps in therapy department, mainstream classes, vocational and the sickbay.
