Admission Notice: National Certificate and Uganda Community Polytechnic Certificate Courses
Applications are invited from individuals interested in pursuing National Certificate or Uganda Community Polytechnic Certificate courses available in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions. These courses are offered under both Government and Private Sponsorship
Admission Details:
Selection Exercise Dates: 12th to 16th February 2024
Regional Selection Centers:
- Central Region: Ntinda Vocational Training Institute, Kampala Capital City
- Eastern Region: St. Kizito Technical Institute, Madera, Soroti City
- Northern Region: Bobi Community Polytechnic, Omoro District
- South Western Region: Kakiika Technical School, Mbarara City
Minimum Admission Requirements:

| Uganda Community Polytechnic Certificate | - P.7 Certificate holders regardless of the scores - Recognition/Assessment of prior relevant skills - Recognition of Literacy/Arithmetic/ICT and or any Basic Vocational skill - Valid Identification Card/Birth Certificate |
Application Process:

Application forms are available at the regional selection centers mentioned above, City/Municipal/District Education Offices, TVET institutions across the country, Ministry of Education and Sports Headquarters - TVET Operations and Management department, and on the Ministry website tvet.go.ug and www.education.go.ug.

Photocopies of pass slips, certificates, and a recent passport-size photograph should be attached to the filled application form.

Completed application forms should be returned to any of the mentioned regional selection centers or government TVET institutions by 9th February 2024.
