4th Edition of the Steam Festival

Kyambogo University is hosting the fourth edition of its STEAM Festival from April 7th to 11th, 2025, at the Central Teaching Facility. Organized by the Faculty of Science, the festival showcases research, innovations, and teaching strategies across diverse fields, including Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, Vocational Studies, Business, and more.

According to Prof. Ediriisa Mugampoza, Dean of the Faculty of Science, the festival builds on past successes to foster collaboration and tackle societal challenges through science and innovation. Activities include exhibitions, performances, and discussions, with participation from all university faculties and selected schools.

Under the theme, “Demystifying Science, Technology, and Innovation for Community Development,” the festival aims to inspire future innovators, empower researchers to solve societal issues, and promote knowledge sharing for evidence-based policymaking and community development.
