The National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) of Uganda, a key institution in educational curriculum design, is organizing the 2nd International Curriculum Conference in April 2026. Following the success of the 2023 conference, which focused on reconceptualizing curricula for socio-economic transformation, the 2026 edition aims to address sustainable education in a globalized world.

This prestigious event will bring together educators, policymakers, and researchers to explore transformative educational strategies that integrate sustainability, technology, and global competencies into curricula.

Important Dates

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: April 30, 2025
  • Acceptance Notification: May 31, 2025
  • Full Paper Submission: September 30, 2025
  • Conference Dates: April 23–24, 2026

Submission Guidelines

Authors are required to adhere to the following format:

  • Abstracts: 100-250 words with 3-5 keywords.
  • Full Papers: 3,500-8,000 words, including sections like Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Findings, and Recommendations.
  • Formatting: British English, Times New Roman (12pt), 1.5 line spacing.
  • Referencing Style: APA 7th Edition.

Presentation Formats

Participants may present through:

  • Paper Presentations: 15-minute talks with Q&A.
  • Poster Presentations: Illustrated research discussions.
  • Workshops and Training Reports: Hands-on learning sessions.
  • Innovations Showcase: Demonstrations of novel educational tools and practices.

The conference offers physical and virtual participation options, with fees structured for local, regional, and international participants, as well as students.
