About our school

Namagunga Primary Boarding School was founded by the Franciscan Missionary Sisters for Africa led by Mother Mary Kevin Kearney (O.S.F) in 1936. The major aim was to expand the provision of education of the girl child.  The school was dedicated to ST. THERESA as its patron Saint

Applications are made only for the Primary one entry. (This can be done as early as the girl child is born) or immediately when the child begins her nursery school. For other classes (P.2 – P.5 ) applications are allowed if there is any vacancy and after being decided upon by the School Administration.

  • Successful applicants are subjected to both oral and written interviews.
  • The interviews take a duration of 2hours.
  • The results are given after a thorough marking of the interview.
  • The successful candidates receive their admission letters on the date decided by the School Administration.
  • Parents are expected to pay a flexible commitment fee on receiving the admission letter.
