About our school
The core mandate of the School is to train a nurse who, upon graduation, can be able to provide comprehensive nursing services to communities, homes, schools, industries, hospitals and other institutions. The vision of Masaka School of Comprehensive Nursing is to be an internationally reputable nursing training institution. The mission of Masaka School of Comprehensive Nursing is to produce a competent and committed comprehensive nurse. We uphold the Core values of the school that provide guidance in order to realize the institutional vision and mission.
Mandate
The mandate of the school is to provide nursing training. This mandate is derived from the constitution of Uganda 1995; the Education act 1964; the Education Sector Investment Plan 2003, the University and other Tertiary Institutions Act 2003, and other education policies and regulations.
